As a documentary producer, Andy Greenspan’s work has appeared on PBS Frontline and NBC Sports. He has received broadcasting’s most prestigious honors: the DuPont-Columbia, Emmy and Peabody awards.
Andy’s company, DocYOUmentary, produces television quality biographies for individuals and families to share with children, grandchildren and future generations. DocYOUmentary reflects the uniqueness of each story. Each film is authentic, distinctive and timeless. It is driven by the idea that “a life well lived deserves a story well told.”
Andy began DocYOUmentary because his two boys, Ben and Sam, did not get the opportunity to know their grandfather, George. It would have been amazing for them to meet him in a documentary. That’s why DocYOUmentary exists – to honor a life, preserve a legacy and perpetuate values.
In addition to his DocYOUmentary and television work, Andy also produces films for non-profit institutions. They include Brown, Duke, Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Princeton, the University of Chicago, Wharton and Yale.
Andy got his start in broadcasting at a 10-watt radio station at Choate Rosemary Hall. He received a BA from Columbia in Political Science and an MS in Journalism from Northwestern.
